ATAT LI-KIM-MUI

Atat has spent over 18 years developing and implementing strategy and business improvement plans for large organisations, both as a management consultant and as a senior manager in strategy and planning. Atat has worked in eight countries and is now based in Sydney.

Prior to joining ARPOS, Atat was responsible for strategy and planning for AMP Financial Services, part of the AMP Group. Prior to that he worked for Booz Allen & Hamilton in Sydney, Brisbane, Auckland and Bangkok. Atat's clients encompassed a range of industries including banking, airline, engineering, manufacturing, mining and healthcare.

Before moving into management consulting, Atat worked as a structural engineer with Ove Arup & Partners, a multi-disciplinary consulting firm, in London and then in policy formulation and risk analysis in government. His areas of expertise include corporate and business strategy development, electronic commerce, operations management, and change implementation.

Atat received his PhD in Engineering from the University of Cambridge where he was a Cambridge Commonwealth Trust scholar and a Trinity College Bursary recipient. He gained his Bachelor of Science (Honours First Class) in Civil Engineering from the University of Lancaster and his MBA from the University of Sydney. Atat is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

ANDREW DALZELL

Andrew is a Senior Consultant with close to 20 years of top tier strategy consulting and corporate experience in mining and capital intensive industries. Andrew’s areas of interest and expertise include corporate strategy, growth, mergers and acquisition planning and integration, performance management, strategic sourcing and shared services design in a range of industries including financial services, utilities, chemicals and manufacturing.

 

Prior to joining ARPOS, Andrew worked as a senior manager in advisory at a Big 4 professional services firm and as a product manager for a leading general insurer.  Prior to these roles, Andrew spent several years at Booz Allen & Hamilton.  A highlight was working in the banking client team that won the worldwide 2003 Professional Excellence award.

 

Andrew started his career with a small entrepreneurial company which undertook minerals processing design and build-own-operate of plants.  Over the next decade he lived and worked in Australia, UK, USA, Canada, Poland and India as the company grew and finally achieved ASX listing. During this period, Andrew progressed through various roles from Research Engineer to Managing Director of an overseas subsidiary.

 

Andrew received his MBA from the Australian Graduate School of Management, UNSW, his Master of Engineering Science from Monash University; and his Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering (Honours) from the University of Queensland.

JOHN GOGGIN

John Goggin has over 20 years experience in operations and general management in Australia and internationally. In recent times he has worked with local companies to significantly improve their operations. 

Prior to this John worked for Unilever having started his career in manufacturing and progressing into senior general management roles. This included several international postings in Europe and the Middle East. John’s last role with Unilever was as a Director of Unilever Arabia and General Manager of the ice-cream division. His experience with Unilever includes coaching senior management, closure of a non-profitable division, starting up a joint-venture manufacturing company including commissioning a Greenfield factory, the turn-around of an inefficient tea packing business to achieve record output, modelling of future supply chain requirements in Asia and Europe, manufacturing management and quality assurance.

John’s areas of expertise include leadership, strategy formulation and implementation, change management, regional operations, joint-venture partnerships, innovation process management, and manufacturing. John holds a B. App. Science (Chemistry) and Ass. Dip. Business Administration.

RICHARD BOWEN

Richard is an experienced manager and consultant who specialises in working with multiple stakeholders across complex organisations to design, negotiate and implement solutions. 

Richard’s career path into consulting was via the law and general management. After practising as a solicitor, he became a line manager, then division manager for a 3rd party logistics provider. Since then he has worked with ARPOS and as an independent consultant.

Richard applies the rigour of project management techniques to clients’ unique business situations.  He has led client teams working on business unit strategy, operational improvement, supply chain optimisation, product development and marketing launches.  He has extensive expertise in logistics, manufacturing and financial services.

Richard is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.  He holds Law and Commerce degrees from The University of Melbourne, where he was a Colonial Mutual Actuarial Cadet.  He holds a Graduate Certificate in Financial Analysis using Excel from the University of Technology in Sydney and a Graduate Diploma in Transport & Distribution Management from RMIT.

THE BERINGER GROUP

The Beringer Group specialises in project management training and advisory services. Based in Vancouver, Canada, the company offers a range of project and performance management training courses; and advisory services such as project management coaching, strategic planning support and business process redesign.

The Beringer Group has been in operation for over 25 years and undertakes work in Canada, the USA and internationally, with a focus on the telecommunications, utilities and financial services industries. 

ARPOS partners with the Beringer Group to deliver project and performance management training to clients underlying both companies' focus on implementation and building up of capabilities that are critical to make change sustainable. The training programs, which have more than 15,000 graduates, are focused on improving the Making it Happen skill set which includes project management and performance management.

The training has been developed to provide a very hands-on, practical approach to managing projects. The end result is that participants leave with information and tools that they can begin to apply on the job immediately. WAYNE HENDERSON

Wayne has advised companies across most sectors of the economy, both publicly listed and privately held, for over fourteen years.  Prior to this he worked in management roles in marketing analysis and supply chain, and his career has seen him work in Europe, Asia, Australia and Africa.  His particular areas of expertise are in helping executive teams and Boards to develop an understanding of their future, to develop strategies for achieving their goals and supporting them in implementing change within their organisations.  

Educated in a combined science and arts degree, Wayne is driven by a desire to see substantial and enduring changes in the both the businesses and the individuals that are his clients.
